Bianca Marroquin


Bianca Marroqufn is a Mexican musical theatre and television actress known as the first Mexican actress to have a starring role on Broadway and one of the youngest actresses to play Roxie Hart in a Broadway prod­uction of Chicago. Marroquin was born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised in the twin border cities of Matam­oros, Tamaulipas, Mexico and Brownsville, Texas, where she studied ballet, jazz, flamenco, and tap at Bellas Artes Academy. She became part of the Mexico City cast of Beauty and the Beast, so she decided to move to Mexico City and start her professional theatre career. She performed in Mexican productions of several Broadway musicals: Rent (1999-2001 ), The Phantom of the Opera, and Chicago, which landed her an invit­ation to perform as Roxie Hart, with George Hamilton as Billy Flynn, at the Shubert Theatre on Broadway. Afterward, she returned to Mexico City to close the Chicago season and join The Vagina Monologues Mexican cast. TV shows: Mira Quien Baila -Awards: Helen Hayes Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress, Non-Resident Production. 





Adrian Gonzalez


Adrian Gonzalez was born in Brownsville, Texas. He is a graduate of the prestigious Northwestern University School of Theatre. He is an actor, known for Your Family or Mine (2015), The Bridge (2013) and August (2011). 







J. Francisco Rodriguez


“Francisco” was raised in Brownsville Texas and began studying acting at The University of Texas at San Antonio. After moving to Los Angeles,  he began studying with masters like Lesly Kahn and Ivana Chubbuck. H e has, since then, starred/co-starred, in productions such as Newsroom, True Detective, New Girl, American Crime, 20th Century women, and Hometown Hero.  In addition, Francisco also wrote, produced and starred in the short film “Acting 101” for which he received a number of nominations and awards.






Emauraude Toubia


Emeraude Toubia is a Mexican-Lebanese actress who currently plays Isabelle Lightwood in the popular hit show Shadowhunters.  She was born in Vancouver, Canada and raised in Brownsville, Texas. 

Toubia started to professionally train in classical ballet, flamenco, lyrical, and belly dance. At only fifteen years old, Toubia's love for the stage led her to compete in a series of pageants.  She has since been named Miss South Texas, Miss Rio Grande Valley America and Miss Brownsville Teen.  In 2008,  she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina placing first runner-up.   As a result of her success, she went on to star in multiple commercials for brands such as Maybelline, JC Penney, State Farm and Sony, among others.

In 2009, she joined the second season of Model Latina, finishing in fifth place.  She was then a semifinalist in Miss Texas USA 2010.  From 2011 to 2013, Toubia served as a presenter for several NBC Universo music and entertainment shows, including The Arena, 18 & Over, and mun2POP.  She co-hosted the mun2 red carpet special for the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards.  In 2013, Toubia made her acting debut as Elizabeth on the Nickelodeon Latin America youth telenovela 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra, for which she was coached by Academy Award-nominated actress Adriana Barraza.






Andrea Marquez


Born and raised in Brownville, Texas, Andrea Verónica has been involved in local dance and theatresince the age of two. She recently graduated from Columbia University with a double major in Theatre Directing and Political Science and is doing her Masters in Journalism at Harvard University. She was involved with various theatre projects in college, starring in Grieving for Fish, The Gift and The Owl Answers and directing The Serpent for her senior thesis. Now, living in Mexico City, Andrea will be in La Fabrica de Santa by Rodrigo Renovales, a Christmas musical that will be touring in all of Mexico and abroad. She is also currently writing and working with Entrelineas on a movie script.





Osvaldo de Leon


(CEA). He took several courses at Casa Azul such as 'Hacer el humor' and 'Creación de Centro de Educación Artística He left his hometown to begin his acting studies in Mexico City at the [4][3].Matamoros, Tamaulipas, United States and grew up in Brownsville, TexasBorn in personaje con imaginación', just to name a few.  Professionally, he has participated in theater in plays such as, O´Neils 'Ah, Wilderness' (2007), 'Escenas de Amor Shakespeare' (2007), 'Our Town´ by Thorton Wilder' (2006), Shakespeares 'A Midnights Summers Dream' (2005) and 'Othelo' (2009) in which he played 'Casio' a role for which he won the award for Best APT Co-Actor and also ´The Tempest´(2011) beside actors like Ignacio Lopez Tarso. Months later he was for a short time in the staging of 'Sicario', directed by Felipe Fernandez del Paso. Currently working on Arthur Millers "Death of a Salesman" soon to come out in theatre this summer 2012.

In film he was cast in the movie 'La noche de las Flores' (2009), directed by Adrian Burns. In 2012 he will play Tobías in the film Hidden Moon, directed by José Bojorquez.

On television has taken several projects like the telenovelas Juro que te amo (2008) and Palabra de Mujer, among others. He also made a participation in the series Locas de Amor. In 2010, he played the role of Juan Vicente in the telenovela Niña de mi Corazón,[5] which was produced by Pedro Damián. He currently plays the role of Tomás Campos in the telenovela Una Familia con Suerte.[6]










Cidny Vela


Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Cindy Vela is an actress, model and alto saxophonist.

Vela attended the University of Texas in Brownsville and became lead saxophonist in both the top jazz and concert bands.  She participated at national and international concerts and competitions in the U.S. and Mexico and opened shows for legends Tito Puente, Celia Cruz and Jose Feliciano. 

It was in college that Cindy started modeling and appearing in local commercials, yet continued her schooling and received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. She went on to become a middle school band director and helped her students win various awards, all while teaching them the importance of education and the arts.

Vela moved to Los Angeles to continue the work she had started in entertainment. As a print model, Cindy can be seen on covers and spreads for magazines and in international print ads for major companies, some of which include Bio Ionic, Wells Fargo, O.P.I. and Kellogg’s Special K boxes. In Los Angeles, Vela met esteemed fashion designer, Ximena Valero, and it started a great collaboration between the two. Cindy was quickly asked to become a fit model and a runway model for Valero’s fashion shows and was named the “Face of Ximena Valero Fashion.”

As an actress, Cindy has appeared on stage, television and film. Stage works include Father of the Bride, Let the Eagle Fly and The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit, the latter of which was written and produced by award winning author Ray Bradbury (Fahrenheit 451).  Cindy worked on a pilot with directors Robert Ben Garant and Tomas Lennon of Reno 911 and she later played the title role of Desdemona in the award winning film 'Desdemona: A Love Story'.  Cindy created controversy with an internet video called ‘Exhibit B-5’ aka ‘Girl Dies’ directed by Project Greenlight winner Kyle Rankin which had millions searching for answers to her life and identity. To help answer questions, Vela had a sit down interview for MSNBC’s Caught on Camera and Israeli’s Channel 10 TV.

This year, Cindy, can be seen in the action drama film 'Camino' with Zoe Bell and Nacho Vigalondo directed by Josh Waller.






Will Hainley


Will Hainley was born in Brownsville, Tx and is a student at the Saint Joseph Academy.  Will has been acting since the age of 5. His most recent role on stage has been with The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Bravo Opera Company's in Street Scene, An American Opera in the role of Willy. 


He has also been seen most recently at the prestigious Camille Playhouse in several roles:

Charlie in Willy Wonka

Young Shrek in Shrek the Musical. 


In film, Will made his debut at SXSW in 2016  in the movie Dave.  He has also been in 2 other shorts, Hey Dad and Just Should Why.  Will also does voice over work and modeling.  His hobbies include basketball and reading about history, especially WWII.
