Emanuel Negrila

Emanuel Negrila was born in Romania and immigrated to the United States at the age of five. He grew up in Sacramento, California where he became interested in music when he began playing the saxophone and trumpet in 4th grade. After performing with numerous bands and orchestras, Emanuel enrolled in the audio production program at the University of Sacramento and graduated in 2000 with degrees in music production and sound engineering. Eager to help his parents and 11 brothers and sisters, Emanuel founded Silver Star Foam, a highly successful architectural molding company, and S&N Construction; a company that specializes in historical homes restoration. Handing the companies to his brothers, his love for film led him to the University of California Santa Barbara where he emerged himself in cinematography.

He graduated in 2004 with degrees in Film Production and Media Studies. To further his craft in film, Emanuel enrolled in the graduate program at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 2007. Under the tutelage of some of the most prominent Hollywood producers, directors, and cinematographers, Emanuel won several awards as a director of photography for numerous thesis projects. Immediately after graduating in 2010, Emanuel began investing heavily in film equipment and founded Light Tower Productions . His film equipment rental company has been involved in numerous independent films, documentaries and music videos and content for The Disney Channel.

Aside from film production, helping people has always been a huge part of Emanuel's life. As a child of immigrants, who lived behind the communist iron curtain, he became deeply involved in personal stories and the humanitarian struggle.  He has been involved in several philanthropic organizations and has build houses for orphans all around the world. Emanuel's passion is telling personal stories and capturing and creating images that portray, inspire, mesmerize and motivate the human soul.
